FAQ’s

Where are you located?

All sessions are photographed outdoor in a natural environment, and I can make recommendations regarding beach, pine forests, open grass fields and gardens.

I’m extremely flexible and love any excuse to get amongst nature and soak up the salty air, so let’s chat!

Do you require a deposit upon booking?

Yes please! I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to lock in your photography session & booking.

Are you vaccinated against the flu & whooping cough?

100% - I have vaccination confirmation paperwork that I am happy to provide to you upon request, your little ones health and wellbeing is priority!

If myself or my little one is sick, do we lose our deposit?

Not a chance! If you’re unable to make it on your scheduled day, please let me know as far in advance as possible, and we can reschedule at our next earliest available session. I do need at least 7 x days notice for reschedules otherwise a postpone fee may apply.

How early should we book in our newborn or child?

I generally recommend to book-in with me a tentative date, while you are pregnant if you’d like to ensure that you secure a booking with your newborn, during peak season I can be booked up 6 x months or more in advance, so usually the sooner we can secure your date the better.

When your little one is older than 6-8 x weeks, we usually tend to see those first smiles and cute facial expressions, so we can also get creative with this!

Photography just prior to their first birthday is also a really cute idea, and ideally when they can sit unsupported, but prior to being able to walk, is a perfect age to capture some big smiles and a more interactive shoot!

What should we expect on the day of our shoot?

Lot’s of fun! Parents, be prepared to help out with costume changes, and all the dancing and singing of songs that you know your little one can’t help but smile to!

I also recommend that bubs is fed just prior to our session, and you are welcome to do so once you arrive if needed too, before we start.

What should I wear?

Once you book your session, i will email you styling advice + information. For the mumma’s, and mumma’s to be, I highly recommend hire company Mama Rentals for a beautiful maternity dress or special gown (a stunning outfit really can make your photoshoot that extra magical!) + if you mention Olive Leaf Studio, you will receive a 15% discount off your hire!

Do I need to bring anything with me and my little one?

Anything you would generally need if leaving the house for a few hours, bring that!

If you have any neutral coloured options such as swaddles, outfits, or bloomers to cover nappies, that you’d like to bring along, you’re more than welcome to!

If we are doing an outdoor session, I usually recommend leaving the pram in the car.

What is your turn around time in producing my photographs and prints?

I will ensure that I have all photographs, prints and frames to you within 2-4 x weeks of your photo session,

If for any unforeseen reason it will be longer than this, I will let you know in advance,

Need them even faster than this? Just let me know and we can work something out!

How will I receive my digital files?

Digital files will be sent to you via an online photography gallery - this means that you’re able to download them on any device, anywhere, whether it be your mobile, tablet, or PC.

All images are water-mark free, and you have 100% rights to the image.

Can I choose to upgrade my package after my photography session takes place?

You sure can! If you decide after your session to purchase additional prints, framed photographs, or an album, we can definitely take care of this afterwards.

How long will you keep copies of my photographs?

I will keep all of my customers photographs for 12 x months. I always recommend backing up your images once you receive them digitally, and storing them in multiple locations!
